The Woodward Wildcats Softball Team ended the 2011 spring softball season as the 2011 Champions of the Independent Girls League with a 6-4 victory over the Wheeler School in Rhode Island. Game highlights were the great pitching from sophomore Emma Whatley, the sixth home run in three games from shortstop Bailey Brait '14, a timely hit by Senior Captain, Jo'ie Lee Brack and an outstanding catching performance from Bryn Coulsey '12, including three put outs at the plate. The 11-3 season record was one of the best in Woodward softball history. Congratulations Woodward Wildcats!
